Wisdom with Brother Taylor

 Wisdom with Brother Taylor

  • To know the peace of God we must take time to know the God of peace.
  • Success is having contentment and peace with God, and knowing you are doing His will.
  • It is meekness that communicates strength in life.  If you have to always be in control of everything, you are a weak person.
  • Worship must be more than outward passion, it must also be inward devotion.
  • We must take God seriously and trust him completely.
  • Life IN Christ we have endless hope.  Life without Christ we have an hopeless end.
  • Flattery is saying things to a persons face that you would not say behind their back.
  • Love is the giving of ourselves, to the benefit of others.
  • Love must be as much a light as it is a flame.
  • The main Characteristic of Love is unselfish giving.

1 Corinthians 13

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

John 17:20-23

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

1 John 3:1-3

1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
