Wisdom with Brother Taylor

 Wisdom with Brother Taylor

  • To know the peace of God we must take time to know the God of peace.
  • Success is having contentment and peace with God, and knowing you are doing His will.
  • It is meekness that communicates strength in life.  If you have to always be in control of everything, you are a weak person.
  • Worship must be more than outward passion, it must also be inward devotion.
  • We must take God seriously and trust him completely.
  • Life IN Christ we have endless hope.  Life without Christ we have an hopeless end.
  • Flattery is saying things to a persons face that you would not say behind their back.
  • Love is the giving of ourselves, to the benefit of others.
  • Love must be as much a light as it is a flame.
  • The main Characteristic of Love is unselfish giving.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding.”  Prov 4:7

WHAT IS WISDOM?

The word ‘wisdom’ in the Scripture means the ability to use knowledge aright.  To know Christ is not to play the fool; it is to be a wise man.  Wisdom in the New Testament equals Jesus Christ for the believer today. “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” 1 Cor 1:30

  • Shame will drive you away from God, fear will keep you away from God.
  • Change is painful, not changing is even more painful.
  • A grudge is harder on the one who holds it than the one it is against.
  • Life without God, is life without hope.
  • Truth is absolute or it is not truth at all.
  • We need to face up to our sins now, or one day we will have to face God with them.
  • God don’t want us to get so attached with time, that we loose sight on eternity.
  • Set your priorities in life early rather than late.
  • Satan and his demons are willing to work with anyone who is willing to work against God.
