Alice Hodges Scheiern

SCHEIERN, Alice Hodges, 83 of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 27,2016. She was born in Trenton, Florida and spent many years in Boca Grande and Lutz, Florida. Alice was a certified medical technologist and a loving homemaker. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Holy Church of God in Tampa; and a singing trio, The Hodges Sisters (Alice, Shirley and Betty). Alice enjoyed reading, sewing, solving crosswords, and Dunkin Donuts coffee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Burl D. Scheiern and seven of her siblings. Alice is survived by her three children, Michael W. Scheiern, Dale L. Ninness and husband, Terry, and Burl D. Scheiern, Jr.; sister, Betty Everett and husband Doyle; two grandchildren, Christopher “Sean” and Sherry and husband, Doug and five great grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, Aaron, Ashley, and Kayla.

Happy New Year from The Holy Church of God! Individually and corporately, this year can be FULL of whatever we commit to God. Let this year be the year of the favor of the Lord, in righteousness, in peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, in assurance, in answered prayers, in salvations, in deliverance, in miracles, in restoration of a new commitment and Covenant with God! A year of God confirming His Word with signs following, that we ARE "a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" (1 Peter 2:9)
May the Lord Bless You, keep You, Make His face to shine upon You and give You peace as you draw near to Him! -Doulos D
