Yom Kippur - Day of atONEment

Yom Kippur is one of the Highest Holiest Days of the Jewish feasts, we know it as the "Day of Atonement," the ONLY day the High Priest could go behind the veil into the presence of God making intercession for the sins of  the people!  The days between "Rosh shannah" (the Feast of Trumpets / awakening conciouses towards God) and Yom Kippur, people were to examine themselves and get right with God! read more: Learn more about "Yom Kippur -Day of Atonement 

This is not just a Jewish thing, but Christians as well should know more about this day, IT IS BECAUSE OF JESUS that the veil was torn in two and we can come into the presence of a Holy God, we no longer need to sacrifice the blood of a lamb, but we do need still from time to time examine ourselves (2 Cor 13:5) whether we are in "the Faith" - bowing, surrendering to God, living godly in this present world, being fruitful, growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus, rooted and grounded in the Love of God, building upon the right foundation, etc!!!!

Quran Burning?

  I feel like this whole Gainesville quran burning thing will help widen the last days gap between the "inter-faith" ecumenical Babylonian spirit church and true believers, and fuel a closer presence of coming persecution, but even a closer horizon of the Lord's return!!!  I don't agree with this guy or know too much about him, but I do know that Jesus said, "Do to others as you would have them do to you" (Luke 6:31 NIV)  We would be (atleast I hope) outraged IF people burned Holy Bibles!!!   And I'm not saying that the quran is holy, what I am saying is every human being that certain unalienable right to believe or not to believe, whether is truth or false, it's their decision,   We don't burn qurans, mosques or kill people IF they don't agree with us!   "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 and we are suppose to be CHRIST-like, hence, CHRISTIANS!  Soon, we who are true followers of Jesus will be counted as terrorists for not being all embracing of other religions, and this incident will help to fuel that push!  Let's keep "the faith," (2 tim 4:7) preach "the Word" (2 tim 4:2)  and give the world "the Gospel" (Matt 24:14)

GOT JESUS?

Though the question may be a good one,

It’s not the "REAL" Question!!!

Lot’s of people claim they "have Jesus", they "know Jesus". Just walk the streets and testify of the Gospel and sure enough they’ll tell you, "I know Jesus". It’s kind of like the American thing to say! After all, with a estimated "50 million evangelical Christians" you got to be politically correct. (NO) If you want to play games with Heaven and Hell, I wouldn’t recommend it; I rather be spiritually correct!

The question IS NOT: "GOT JESUS?"

The real question IS: "Does Jesus GOT YOU?"

Galatians 4:9
